$10 (advance), $12 // 21+QUINTRON'S WEATHER WARLOCKBRUCE LAMONTCHE ARTHUR--------WEATHER WARLOCK is a band based around and instrument of the same name, created by New Orleans musician / inventor Quintron. The instrument is a large analog synthesizer which is controlled completely by the weather and employs sun, rain, wind, temperature, moon, and lightning to affect an F major drone chord with special sonic events occurring at sunrise and sunset. This project was completed by Quintron in Captiva Florida during a May 2014 Robert Rauschenberg residency. Since these first Rauschenberg experiments, four active WEATHER WARLOCKS have been built in the United States - one in New Orleans, one in Miami Florida, one in Acra New York, and a touring instrument. Each one of these instruments is customized to the local climate and the exact location of the sensors. Joining the touring WEATHER WARLOCK instrument this evening are: Quintron, Gary Wrong (Wizzard Sleeve, Kajun SS, Jeth Row Records, etc), Kunal Prakash (Jeff The Brotherhood), and Aaron Hill (Eyehategod, King Louie, etc).**Please check out for a full explanation and live stream of the instrument. BRUCE LAMONT wears many hats, he's part of electronic noise-dirge squad Corrections House, with Eyehategod’s Mike IX Williams, Neurosis’s Scott Kelly, and longtime creative partner Sanford Parker; the mind-melting jazz-prog-hardcore trio Brain Tentacles, and dozens of other projects, large and small, collaborating with an ever-growing network of like minds. This time around he's taking the reigns himself as he sets off to release his sophomore solo album, Broken Limbs Excite No Pity. It's been seven years since we've seen a solo release from the Hesh and he promises this will be MUCH HEAVIER than his other solo works. Bring it on Hesh.Performing a rare solo set is Chicago-via-Mobile guitarist and songwriter CHE ARTHUR, formerly of ATOMBOMBPOCKETKNIFE and currently the lead singer & guitarist of PINK AVALANCHE. In his solo sets, ARTHUR abandons traditional song structure in favor of seriously heavy, psychedelic guitar work that is likely to crush the feeble-minded and faint of heart.
