One of the best GGD shows I’ve been to and I’ve been to 68. I love seeing them in Buffalo, I love the old songs they haven’t played in ages, and I loved the addition of the string section for Dizzy Up The Girl!
I know these guys are incredible but the show being an album anniversary tour seemed to be cut short or something. The set ran at least 1hour 15mins. Regular shows sets run about or more than that amount of time. Doesn't really matter they deserve much respect for geniune talent & longevity. Amazingly original as well. Keep it up guys!! 💕💞💕
So much better than I could have ever expected, even with the crappy opening "comedian" and the matching hologram act, though it was cool seeing John sing to himself playing the guitar and vice versa (you had to be there for this to make sense). But not only did they do all of Dizzy, obviously, they went WAY BACK to Jed and Superstar Car Wash. Songs I *never* thought I'd hear live. Wish they'd done Naked and Long Way Down from A Boy Named Goo and I'd be on cloud 16 instead of just 9.
Maybe I’m a bit biased because I am a die hard fan, but this concert was excellent! Out of all the Goo Goo Dolls shows I have seen, this was the best! Neat venue too. The only issue was the confusion at the VIP/Meet and Greet gâté and line. But it all worked out...and I met John and Robby! Wonderful guys!
It was absolutely the best concert that I have ever attended and I've been going to their shows for 20 years. The energy level was amazing. The event staff were also very helpful and friendly. I would not hesitate to attend another concert at the Tabernacle.
