The London based collective are all old friends and family and began making music together through a universal passion for UK Hip Hop and Trip Hop, and a shared post-code.

Halfpenny have played with artists including Bombay Bicycle Club, Andreya Triana and Subculture Sage and were showcased by BBC Introducing during 2017 & 2018.

Halfpenny's track record of performing high-octane shows has been highlighted time and again across numerous venues and festivals including Hootananny Brixton, The Troubadour, Oxjam, and Proud Camden, to name a few.
