J-O Biography

Jonathan Olivert(J-O) was born on December 30th 1990 in Plantation Florida to mother Rose Olivert and Father Nathan Olivert. At age 2 his mother and father split up, leaving is mother stuck with his older brother and two older sisters to struggle to make ends met. When Jonathan was just two years old his mother got remarried and things began to pick up for the young artist. While living the life most children dream of he began experiencing pain and the realities of life as many of his loved ones began to pass away do to various tragic reasons. Even though he went to school and lived in Broward J-O spent a whole lot of his time with his family in Little Haiti. When J-O was 9 years old he experienced the most heart ache of all when his step father and the only man he would ever call dad was shot down in cold blood. During the period after the death of his "father" he knew he would have to help his mother pay bills anyway possible. At the age of 15 he was introduced to quick money so whether it was legal or illegal he would take a chance to help out his family. Even though he was brought up with the dream of becoming a great football player he couldn't run from the musical background his family had bestowed upon him. Growing up in a house where his brother was an aspiring music producer and his cousins were all aspiring rappers he was easily sucked into the world of hip-hop. At the age of 13 his biggest influences on becoming a music artist(cousins Frank “Hollywood” Baptiste and Kevin “ Big Steal” Baptiste) were sentenced to in federal prison one receiving 8 years and the other receiving 17 years. After losing the only two role models he had in life he began to focus on Music and keep Football as a hobby. At the age of 16 J-O was discovered on Myspace by a music producer Ernst “Taz” Dimanche through the low quality music he made in the comfort of his own home. J-O had known him many years prior because Taz used to produce beats for his cousin Hollywood before he was incarcerated. After his first mixtape “Goon Minded” was never released do to legal complications J-O set out to step up his musical talents and in 2010 put together the Speakers Blow Mixtape hosted by DJ Epps. Now working On His upcoming Project titled “Freedom” J-O plans on expanding his musical talents with more production from producers other than “Taz” and tracks that will bring his listeners a little deeper into the world of “J-O. ^^^^^^ SUGGEST ME TO YOUR FRIENDS FOLLOW ME ON TWITTER @supernegro101 FOR BOOKING/FEATURES EMAIL NINE54JO@GMAIL.COM
