A welcome return for Glastonwick and Ropetackle favourites The Men They Couldn’t Hang, who for 35 years have combined stirring, anthemic music and intelligent, inspirational words, often with historical themes (‘Ironmasters’, ‘Ghosts Of Cable Street’ ‘The Colours’). With a new album ‘Cock A Hoop’ due for release very soon they are as feistily irreverent – and relevant – as ever. A band to make you dance and think at the same time.....

Support comes from Attila the Stockbroker’s brand new Barnstormer 1649, who combine early music and punk with songs and tunes set around the time of the English Civil War and Commonwealth, but very much with an eye for what’s happening now. Crumhorn, cornamuse, shawm, 5 different recorders, violin, viola, mandola, mandocello, guitar, bass, drums and words. Music for Diggers, Levellers and Ranters!

Tickets £15
