SHEFLOWZ

Strength, fearlessness, and power are words that best describe hip hop artist SheFlowz. From early on she developed an appreciation for all forms of music, especially jazz. Unlike most hip hop artists, SheFlowz did not originally follow rap culture. Coming from a very conservative background, certain types of music weren't as readily available to her nor were they deemed an acceptable option.

As her teenage years approached and hip hop culture became more of an interest, Huntsville, Alabama native SheFlowz began to experiment with writing and recording rap music as part of a local rap group. That shortly fizzled out and SheFlowz went on to enjoy her college experience as an Architecture major.

With her college years behind her and having received a Masters in Architecture, she made a major move to the Washington, DC area. It was there, however, that she discovered that the field of Architecture was not something she was passionate about nor was there any job security. SheFlowz began to question her purpose and path.

It was during this season of doubt that she was approached by Rock-Da-Truth Records, a local DMV record label, about joining their roster. It was at this point that SheFlowz began her life as a Christian rap artist. This was the start of a whole new life for this blossoming MC. With a unique and rich voice, powerful lyrics, and a captivating personality, SheFlowz is expected to rise quickly in today's Holy Hip Hop industry.

Having won the DMV Christian Music Award for Best Female Hip Hop artist 3 years in a row, from 2012 to 2014, SheFlowz has proven to be a an artist of high interest considering she had not yet released an album. She was able to catch the attention of many through single releases, a few videos, and live performances.

SheFlowz finally did release her debut album entitled "From Journey To Destination” in 2014. The project depicts the journey of a Christian from the moment they believe, through the challenges of walking by faith, to the much anticipated life boldly lived for Christ within ones purpose. The album has amazing features such as singers Chris Cobbins, James "Drummaboy Harris", Tameka Harris, Sunday Best top 20 finalist Julian Awari, soul artist Kyla Simone, and more.

Wile apart of the Unbreakable Tour, SheFlowz had the awesome opportunity to open for Gospel singer Alexis Spight and perform under the big top of the UniverSoul Circus at National Harbor. She has also shared her talents in Atlanta at the Women in Charge Festival and during several community events. She also had the opportunity to open for CHH artist Da T.R.U.T.H. during the I AM GODS FAV tour event.
