The Carsons Biography
To best meet The Carson's you'd probably need a few hours on their porch with a cup of freshly brewed coffee and a couple of guitars, but since we're having this introduction in cyberspace, here's the short version. These two Nashville transplants met playing writer's rounds in Music City, became friends and co-writers, then a little more, and were married in hills of TN during the fall of 2011.
Let's back the story up just a bit. Jason began his music and performance career at a young age entertaining on a national stage as a Mouseketeer on the New Mickey Mouse Club. He then went on to be a front member of the country band Shiloh, and also enjoyed success as a songwriter with his #1 song "Rain" in the Australian market. Misty Rae Carson, a Texas Native, got an early start in country music as an opener for Grand Old Opry Legends Ray Price, Bill Anderson, and Don Williams. Since then she released an independent single "Woke Up One Day" which was added to over 100 radio stations nationwide and the fan-funded music video was seen on multiple national TV outlets.
So do what do you get when you combine two powerful singers, thoughtful songwriters, and crazy dreamers? The Carsons, a harmonious experience that focuses on real music, real people, and keeping everything real simple.
