Co-owner of NYCRavers, which has been organizing huge events in the Tri State area for nearly a decade, Ajaxbeats has also been releasing music of extraordinary depth and texture during that time.

His legacy in the game is borne out of his love from the underground and from a variety of influences including Lofi HipHop, Chillhop, Boombap, Trap, Liquid DnB and more. Navigating those rich waters was a journey that has seen his music touched by artists such as J Dilla, Nujabes, Pete Rock, Flying Lotus, Goldie, Pink Floyd, and, even, the mighty James Brown.

He understands the sensory nuances of a track, and be it for the dance floor or the sanctity of a headset, the rich tapestry he creates is a never-ending quest to find the beauty in sound. From luxurious synths, to a driving bassline and intoxicating beats, the class within his music shines through every single time.

His track record speaks for itself. Two albums and a whole swag of singles are about to be joined by a new full-length LP in 2023 titled Ten For Taz And Top Gun. In a tragic year where he grieved the passing of his sister Shontez "Taz" Morris and his father Andrew ‘Top Gun’ Morris, Ajaxbeats has found the strength and resilience to produce a collection of music that truly honors their memories.
