About this concert
It's your favorite bar's birthday! Don't miss out on what is bound to be one hell of a party at Rhythm & Rye! Our friends in BAD BEACHES AND Surrealized from Seattle are set to kick the night off with some groovin' electro-rock and then your boys in DBST have got a ton of new stuff that they really wanna show you! This one's gonna be CRAZY! Don't miss out! DBST is an impassioned and energetic FutureSoul band formed in Olympia, Washington with wild electronic leanings- yet they maintain the full interplay and instrumentation of a traditional band. The band constructs an encapsulating and textured aura of sound around fluid yet commanding vocals; seeking to connect and resonate with every listener in the audience. BAD BEACHES are an indie-electro-rock band based in Seattle, WA, consisting of members Jordan Beach, Drew Dyer-Symonds, and Beau Myers. Surrealized Lyrically, as you might expect with a name such as “SURREALIZED,” the songs are written and delivered in an almost coded manner speaking to the soul as much as the mind – all for the purpose of a higher, ethereal sense of communication. SURREALIZED harkens back to the synth-pop/wave fueled 80's in one way, but crunches along in a guitar driven romp in other ways, while simultaneously drawing on dreamy, electrobeat driven, psychedelic anthems.
