The Recess Bureau

A band of music nerds, who were all trained in the conservatory setting have studied/played with some of the unsung heroes of music today like, John Pattituci, Michael League, Dave Liebmann, Gerald Clayton, Joe Lavano, Jimmy Greene, Jeff 'Tain' Watts, and many more... The collective has musical influences from Porcupine Tree, to Kanye West. The Recess Bureau explores the possibilities of jazz improvisation with different grooves, compositional styles and lyrical melodies that'll leave you wanting more. Created in July of 2015, the band was constructed by bassist and band leader, Jeff Moro. He produced their 2016 self titled EP, and plans on releasing more by the years end.
