2018 Reno Ukulele Festival
Thursday, May 3rd, 2018
1:00 PM
The 10th Anniversary of the Reno Ukulele Festival will be the biggest and best yet, with a beautiful new home, an expanded calendar, and the above massive lineup of performers and instructors! It’ll be four days of celebrating the music and camaraderie of the ukulele community with a few extras here and there! WHEN: The Festival will begin at 1PM, Wednesday May 2 and will run through our grand finale concert, Saturday night May 5.

NOTE: ALL TICKETS AND PASSES WILL REFLECT THE ENTIRE DURATION DATE OF THE FESTIVAL. Individual event times if any, such as the Saturday night concert, will be printed separately on the downloaded material.

Check out our amazing lineup! Nearly everyone has been a headliner in their career, so I’ll start with those traveling the farthest, first timers to Reno, Jim & Liz Beloff. Jim of course, is one of the pioneers of the latest and greatest ukulele resurgence and I’m thrilled to finally get them out west. Sarah Maisel & Craig Chee, Victoria Vox & Jack Maher, Victor & Penny (aka Jeff Freling & Erin McGrane), Aaron & Nicole Keim, aka The Quiet American round out the couples. Grammy Award winner Daniel Ho leads the solo performers, along with the most experienced uke instructor on the planet, Mighty Uke star and Langley Ukulele Ensemble leader Peter Luongo, multi-instrumentalist par-excellence, Abe Lagrimas, Jr. and my good friend, jazzmaster guitarist Michael Powers’ letting loose his ukulele alter ego. Workshop and performance specifics will be added as the festival date draws closer. To receive updates please join our email list.
