Mobius Strip

Möbius Strip is an instrumental band formed in Sora (Italy) in 2014 and made of: Lorenzo Cellupica (25) on keyboards, Nico Fabrizi (26) on sax and flute, Eros Capoccitti (24) on bass and Davide Rufo (26) on drums. The 4 members of the band already played together in another band, called Yellowcake, with which they won in 2011 the contest "Non solo jazz" ("Not just jazz") in Alvito, for playing unreleased songs. Möbius Strip was born with the intention of exploring and mixing different musical styles, in particoular the sound and the improvvisations of jazz with the structures of prog, without disregarding the insertion of strong melodies and searching for its own identity anyway. The band plays in several clubs in Italy and from 2015 it starts to work on some songs, that will be then recorded in July 2016. You can hear the result of that recording session in Möbius Strip homonymous debut album, published in March by Musea Records, on sale on several websites and musical shops (Amazon, iTunes, Ebay, Fnac, CD and LP, Caerllysi Music, Kareco and others). All the songs of the album have been written by Lorenzo Cellupica and arranged by Möbius Strip In october 2016 Möbius Strip records the videoclip of Andalusia, one of the songs of the album, that you can watch on Möbius Strip Facebook and YouTube channels.
