Seemingly arrived as a fully formed musician in the last year, Daoiri has in fact been studying traditional Irish music for a number of years and has accompanied most of the major names in Irish music including Christy Moore, Andy Irvine and Donal Lunny, all of whom are fans. He released his new album 'True Born Irishman' in October 2016 and since then there has been a stream of enthusiastic media coverage including a three page feature in the current fRoots (Jan/Feb '17 issue) and a Top Of The World album review in the current Songlines (Jan/Feb '17 issue). He has also done a live session on the BBC Radio 2 Folk Show and 2017 will see him tour twice to Australia, take in Canadian festivals and in Europe perform at festivals including Tonder Festival (Denmark), Dranouter Festival (Belgium) and Sidmouth FolkWeek in England. His video of his performance of 'The Creggan White Hare' currently has over 250,000 hits on YouTube.

Opening the evening's entertainment will be Rosie Hood, herself a former 'Horizon' nominee.

Tickets are also available from Melanie's Kitchen in Downend.
