Stanley Stonks

Stanley Stonks is a musical artist in the genres of rock, country, blues, and soul. He is best known for his singing and guitar skills and his old-school repertoire. In March 2018, he was named best singer-songwriter by The Akademia Music Awards. Later that year, he got to the semifinals of the US International Songwriting Competition.

Stonks began playing music at the age of 5. In his early teens, he became the ultimate high-school sweetheart guitarist. He studied classical music - orchestral conducting and composition - but shifted his focus towards popular and commercial music over time. His music is strongly influenced by 20th-century top artists, such as Roy Orbison, Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Phil Spector, Bob Dylan, and Paul McCartney.

Stanley is currently working on his EP Look No Closer, set to be released in January 2021. Look No Closer is his biggest project so far, featuring some of Europe’s finest session musicians, directors, and designers.
