Mud River Biography
Since being established in late 2011 Mud River has recorded its debut EP, toured across the state of Texas and into New Mexico, won battle of the bands contest, performed on live TV, and had songs played on internet radio stations in the U.S. and in the UK.
National touring bands we have opened up for. John 5, Bam Magera, Powerman 5000, Trapt, Taproot, Hed P.E., Smile Empty Soul, 12 Stones, & Steve Augeri(former lead singer of Journey).
Mud River is Dave (vocals/guitar), Joe (bass), and Ferney (drums). Dave brings an energetic stage presence that is excitingly unpredictable and mixed with his soaring powerful vocals make for a performance that is not to be missed. The rhythm section is the foundation of any band and Mud River delivers with an aggressive, heavy pick style bass playing that thunders across any venue and a drummer that is precise, versatile, creative, and the driving force behind the band.
Musically Mud River is melodic, with powerful rhythms and lyrics that reach into the soul of its listeners and empowers them. “"Never Letting Go", a single that is my favorite track from the EP, seems to resonate well within me.
