Queue Queue Biography

Queue Queue is a three piece, all female ensemble from Austin, TX that uses loops, heavy atmospheric guitars, vocal harmonies, bass, and drum kit to create their post punk/psyche pop sound. Influences include The Breeders, Neu!, Cocteau Twins,Velvet Underground and The Stooges. A fan describes the vocal interplay: "Like if Carpenter, Hynde, and Quatro got together and did shrooms while listening to Sonic Youth."
Their live debut and soft release of “Man Boy” in May 2016, generated an immediate buzz around Austin. They have been gigging steadily since that time, taking short breaks to record and write.
The members of Queue Queue are Mary Streepy (from the electronic performance art band,The Buglies) on drums/vocals/guitars, Austin Music Hall of Fame recipient Carrie Clark (of the psychedelic noise pop band,Sixteen Deluxe) on guitar/vocals and Claire Hamilton (of chill wave/dream pop band,Paraguay) on bass and vocals.
