Lewis Creek

The Lewis Creek Band is led by John Guetersloh. Born and raised on Lewis Creek in the Shawnee Hills of Southern Illinois, country life is what he is all about. Influenced early in life by the music of Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, and Waylon Jennings, John has tried to style his music in a way he thought would meet the approval of them. At the present time the band performs mostly covers of what we feel are some of country music's greatest hits as well as what we hope you feel are very worthy original tunes along with a little rock and a little blues.

We pride ourselves on the ability, as we have been told, to provide an exceptionally full sound not normally associated with a 3 piece band. Most of all, our goal is to put a smile on the faces and in the hearts and ears of any and all who attend our shows. From young to old, we try to provide enough variety to please everyone. So if you are looking for a good mixture of classic country, southern rock, blues, and original music, give us a shout. You'll be glad you did.
