The Lambsbread, Zahira & Rising Buffalo Tribe, ArkaingellePress Release:Portland Spring Reggae Bash-Coming in like a tropical breeze, Analog Cafe will be getting a taste of the tropics April 27 whenthe Portland Spring Reggae bash comes to town. An evening of good vibes and reggae music from around the world, this event will be a coming together of the people to "free up your troubles, and dance". Stopping in on the "World Needs Love" 2018 tour The Lambsbread from Hawaii will be headlining the show, bringing their high energy stage show to the Analog. The Lambsbread has long been a foundational roots reggae group in the Hawaiian islands, comprised of a family of talented musicians and singers. Originally formed on the island of Kauai the Lambsbread has 5 albums released, the most recent titled "World Needs Love"  debuted in the top 20 selling albums at iTunes. The album features a guest appearance from Grammy award winners Morgan Heritage and Jamaican superstar Sizzla as well as legendary bass player Chris Meredith (Stephen Marley, Ziggy Marley) and is a cry for freedom and justice for all people. The album has been getting a great response around the world and has been hitting the radio airwaves from Hawaii to Jamaica to the UK and Africa, and was voted one of the top 50 albums of 2017 by major reggae website Zona Reggae. Thier stage show is dynamic and keeps the crowd moving to the "sweet reggae music".Also performing on the bill will be roots reggae singer from Guyana Arkaingelle. Bringing a heavy roots vibration and a mystical sound, Arkaingelle will be supporting the release of his new album "Tru Di Fyah". Arkaingelle's second album, released by the Zion High productions label has steadily climbed its way into the top 20 on popular website Reggae Vibes, and has been receiving positive feedback from the reggae community worldwide. With a universal message for the massive, Arkaingelle's songs are heartfelt with lyrics everyone can relate to "On my way Be Good, Do Good".This full line-up also features rising reggae/pop singer from Portland Zahira. Zahira has been on the scene since 2009, and has released music with reggae greats such as Yami Bolo, and performed withLuciano. Her harmonies have also been heard with popular Oregon band Indubious. More recently Zahira has been stepping out backed by Portland favorites Rising Buffalo Tribe. Together they have been lighting up stages around the Portland area, performing with the original Wailers, Junior Reid, Prezident Brown, Chezidek and more. Zahira also has a brand new single and video released titled "Stand Strong" with an uplifting animated video gaining her international attention.All of these artists will be taking the stage for one night only at the popular night club and venue Analog Cafe 720 SE Hawthorne Blvd. The event will include local craft vendors and artisan booths. This is a 21 and over event, doors open at 8pm. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Advance tickets will be available at eventbrite. This will be a night not to be missed for Portland music lovers, and a chance to see some of the finest and freshest reggae music on the scene right now.
