The Velvet Hues

From South Texas, TVH were brought together in 2011 from the sole desire and ambition to create original music that stems from each member’s unique vision and style. Although their musical backgrounds encompass a wide range of genres, the music they make transcends all categorical boundaries and speaks to all audiences. TVH are currently writing and recording new material that is set to be released in 2016 as their debut EP. TVH are Matthew Ortiz on guitar, Rita L. Ortiz on vocals, and Steven Salinas on bass. Drawing from a wide spectrum of musical influences and inspiration, the material that will soon be released is a combination of bluesy rock rhythms, bold rock riffs, and the contrast of acoustic and pop melodies.
