8Bits Memory - 8BM

8BM, Eight Bit Memory was born as degree monograph for District University Francisco José de Caldas in 2010, there Jago, Kaossman Kurobon begin their research and musical work, which culminates with the sustenance of the project "8 Bits of Memory", during the process Famicom Guy was included as a drummer consolidating the proposal with genre 8Bits / Experimental / Noise, once this process was completed they decided to continue as a sound project involving 8 bits (musical genre which comes from using consoles and second and third generation software, Atari 2600, Famicom, Family, Gameboy and others.), rock, metal, progressive jazz and experimental sound elements from noises, samplers and sound waves modification. 8BM - Eight Bit Memory has been in scenarios such as the Academy auditorium Luis A. Calvo in February 2011, in corferias for the XII version of Expociencia and Expotecnología in October and ending in December the present year in the first live stream Taken from Dark Side rehearsal studio.

In 2012 the band participated in the call of the International Festival Rock Al Parque, passing through the primary filters and finally reaching thepreliminary round on May 30 that took place at the outdoor theater La Media Torta, which they were selected ranked 17th among more than 420 groups that applied, to present his show on Saturday June 30th at 4:00 PM in the Redbull Panamerika stage at the festival version that year. The project was identified as the revelation band at the festival by various specialized media and unspecialized too, besides it has been reviewed and interviewed in such important media as UN Radio, Radionica, Laud Estereo, Poliradio, Libertadores on line, Subterranica, the Shrine of the Rock, Panamerika Red Bull (Mexican radio show delivered throughout Latin America), Channel 13, City TV, Channel Capital, El Tiempo, El Espectador, Shock Magazine (being nominated by them as the best Hard Rock band in the awards given annually). After a flawless presentation in RAP, the band performs for the Vrs Musical Battle show on August 17 at the Central University, ending the 2012 with the presentation of his second live stream at the festival web WWCW (World Wide chiptune Webshow).

2013 begins with the presentation at the International Festival Alternative Unirock in Cali on March 21, having a great reception by the organizers and the public and attendees bands; the next day they made ​​a new show in Bogota corroborating the reviews received before. The band won the artistic call from March to June of Gilberto Alzate Avendaño Foundation, which took place on Saturday May 4th at night. To complete the first half of the year, is 8BM won three prizes in Subterranica Awards in the categories of Best New Artist, Best electronic Artist and Best Keyboardist or Producer of New Technologies; also it has been called to participate in two major local event in Bogota, Youth Festival Zone 5 Usme and Dindalito Carnival in Location 8 Kennedy, both held in the month of June this year. Following academic line the band participated in three presentations at the public library network of Bogotá (Tintal and Tunal) programming in September, giving an excellent show, preceded by an exhibition of the "8-bit memory" and in December with the wall cinema initiative and the Animafest Barranquilla.

By 2014 the band was awarded in Subterranica awards for "best electronic rock band" and participated in the International Book Fair (FILBO) in the framework of the "teachers proudly artists" of the secretary of Education of Bogotá (SED) likewise it released their second music video "Red Falcon X Stage Conspiracy".

They are currently in the process of recording their first album.
