About this concert
Andy James is an old-school jazz singer reminiscent of Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan with a hint of Billie Holiday. For this concert at Rockwell: Table & Stage, she'll perform tracks from her first two albums, "Caravan" and "All the Lovely Things You Are", plus classic tunes reimagined in her signature style, including "The Shadow of Your Smile," "You Go to My Head" and "Black Coffee," to name just a few. Longtime Capitol Records executive Johnny Coppola, a singer in his own right, will introduce James for her Los Angeles concert debut, with the legendary Bill Cunliffe conducting and playing keyboard for the five-member live backup band.
