Shelby Raye Biography
Shelby Raye is a South Carolina born-and-raised country music artist that’s bringing an intoxicating southern grit and grace to Music City. Since she was 5, Shelby found a sense of comfort on a stage - eventually discovering a love for songwriting by the age of 12. The powerhouse female’s debut single, “Call Me Crazy”, marked the beginning of a journey toward her lifelong dream. Now, the self-made dynamo gears up for a string of new releases to shed more light on her story.
Early recognition in regional competitions led Shelby to start building a foundation in Nashville when she was 15, periodically making trips to perform and write in the local scene. After opening up for iconic acts like Tim McGraw, Sheryl Crow and TG Sheppard, Shelby set her sights on becoming an icon in her own rights, determined to accomplish her dreams one fan at a time. Her unique tone of voice, sweet-but-sassy personality and imposing vocal range is quickly turning heads in her first year since packing up and moving to Nashville.
Her next single, “Betty Crocker”, will set the stage for Raye’s strong-willed nature to resonate with country fans yearning for the next tenacious female superstar.
