Intimate performances from the best UK (and beyond) musicians covering folk, Americana, singer-songwriters and roots

Hannah White
Hannah White has battled her way to gaining a loyal following of fans around the UK whilst maintaining a wholly independent approach to her career. Her music is influenced by country, blues, folk, pop and soul but remains distinctly her own.

With a voice that can switch from a sweet Nashville croon to a bluesy holler, her songs draw from a rich well of life experiences and have been heard on the national airwaves of BBC Radio 2, Amazing Radio, Chris Country Radio as well major regional UK radio shows such as; BBC London, BBC Kent, BBC Merseyside, BBC Manchester & BBC Introducing as well as being played on international TV several times on the 'Keep It Country' show

Hope In High Water
Hope In High Water are a duo from Milton Keynes, UK whose distinctly British take on acoustic Americana has captivated audiences across the UK since early 2014. The pair incorporate folk, blues and country into their compositions, delivering what Rock'n'Reel Magazine describe as 'exuberant songs performed with passion and intensity'.
An unlikely pair to be pushing the frontiers of the Americana/folk scene, both Josh and Carly started out in the punk scene, churning out high energy performances and angry, politically charged music night after night. This sometimes comes as a shock to those who have come to know the pair for their intense and authentic brand of folk. However, it is from these roots that Hope In High Water developed a strong belief in the importance of honest and sincere song writing and a taste for the darker elements of the American folk tradition. By combining that approach with an intense love of various traditional forms of music from blues to country, folk to soul, the pair has found an original way of interpreting these traditional sounds.

Matthew Shepherd
A rising Starand a really lovely guy too! The crowd were mesmerised Janice Long, BBC Radio Wales
Hailed as one of the most exciting new singer-songwriters on the acoustic music scene, Matthew Shepherd is a 23 year-old singer-songwriter who has been delighting audiences in London, Essex and beyond with his collection of self penned songs. His debut studio album 'Top of the tree' was released in June 2015 and only took a day for the album to break into the iTunes Top 100 Singer/Songwriter Album Chart. His songs cover the happiness and heartbreak of love, with his warm, intimate and delicate style.
In 2016, Matthew releases an Acoustic EP entitled 'The Sea', which reached the Acoustic Magazine's Top 10 Best New Music of September 2016. Matthew also embarked on an extensive national tour which included dates at Ronnie Scott's and 3 dates on the Isle of Wight.
With club and concert performances plus 2 European tours under his belt, Matthew is currently recording his second full-length Album, due for release in Spring 2018, and will be previewing new material on Tour this year.
