****** Alejandro Molinero ****** (pictured above)

A dancer of fiery physicality and imagination who has won competitions for choreography for Flamenco & Spanish Classical dance at Real Conservatorio; and residencies with Ballet National de Espaňa, Compania de Javier Latorre y Shoj Kojima, Compania de Jean Albert Cartier - 'Europa Dance'.

Guest soloist for Compania de Carmen Canteroand Javier Latorre's production 'Amores de Solana'. Partner with Concha Jareňo in Casa Patas in Madrid, and guest choreogragher and teacher for Teal Conservatorio.

****** Pedro Sanz ******

Made his debut at the age of 16 and was soon working with great masters, winning the 1995 Cante Flamenco La silla de oro in Madrid.

His glittering list of projects includes performances with Gypsy Queen Esma of Macedonia; in Falla's La vida breve under Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos in North America and Europe; as a principle in Manuel de Falla's La Vida Breve directed by Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos; with La Compañía de Blanca del Rey throughout Spain, and as a regular in the most prestigious tablaos in Madrid.

Pedro's CD Yunque received favorable reviews, and he also records with ancient Andalucian specialists Axivil Aljamia.

'The highlights of the evening were the flamenco singing and dancing. Pedro Sanz offered an intense, evocative solo as the Cantor' - VIVIEN SCHWEITZER. New York Times 2008

****** La Joaquin ******

Founder member, choreographer and director of Flamenco Express. She has worked with Christina Hoyos, Paco Peña and others in Madrid, Tokyo, New York, Montreal, Toronto, Paris and throughout Europe.

Recent Collaborations 'Spaces in Between' 2007 with Athina Valha and Candoco. Principle soloist 'Splinter In The Flesh' with the Hellenic National Dance Company at the Athens Megaron

"Leading the dancers, La Joaquina, tiny, urgent and intense, explored a vast emotional vocabulary, and juxtaposed vulnerability and tenderness with violence and aggression. Her feet rattle off tempestuous beats, her sinewy arms snake angrily and her taut body is totally driven by her feelings. Wild and untameable, there is certainly no empty prettiness in her dance. - Emma Manning. The Stage

****** Chris Clavo ******

A founder member and musical director of Flamenco Express, he began playing the guitar at fourteen and studied with flamenco maestros Carlos Heredia, Diego Amaya and Pepe Justicia. He has performed throughout Britain and Europe with Flamenco Express, with flamenco jazz virtuoso Eduardo Niebla and Iraqi pop sensation Jassim.

"Two amazing guitar solos from Chris Clavo and Jesus Alvarez made string instruments sing with impossible precision." - Staffordshire Post.

Forget the sterile, regimented flamenco so often served up to tourists: this was the real thing, and to say that it packed a punch is an understatement -
