Old Salt

Old Salt are an international Americana band based out of Ghent, Belgium, performing original and traditional music since 2013. They have a rich heritage of sounds from USA, Belgium, Sweden, France and Scotland.

Old Salt pulls its influences from the streets of New Orleans up through Appalachia to the folk revival of the North Eastern States and jumps the pond to the many sounds from old Europe where the band currently resides. They successfully mix the session with stage and street to bring a folk sound with grit, dynamic, spontaneity and tight arrangements. Their first album, ‘Up River Overseas,’ was recorded in the north of Sweden in 2016 and combines original songs by Dan Wall as well as traditional tunes arranged by the band.

Old Salt are also very excited to be the first place winner of the “European World of Bluegrass” award for 2017, and this is their debut London tour.

Jay Sunaway

Jay Sunaway is the UK's foremost Space-folk collective, formed in London in 2014 by musicians from Suffolk and Germany. This exciting up-and-coming band perform reinvented English and modern folk songs. The band is led by its lead songwriter, singer and guitarist Joseph Woods, with violinist Anna Parino, percussionist Eddy Spirit, bassist Will Palmer and accordionist Hannah Jakes, each band member also lending their backing vocals to the band's warm and earthly yet ethereal sound. Their first studio EP, “Earth Hum” has been recorded and produced in Oxford by their new label, Upcycled Sounds, and is due for release on 6th April. Catch them now before they become massive!

Worldwide Welshman, Transglobal Troubadour

This bearded North Walian will have you laughing, crying, dancing and singing along with his energetic set of silly yet profound songs about confusion, hedonism, the state of the world, mental-health, community gardens, refugees and chatting up Chinese women to name but a few of his themes. This is infused with a love of diversity in language & music, which manifests itself in Liam singing in as many different languages as he can memorize, in addition to his native English & Welsh. For this show Liam will be accompanied by some of the musicians from Jay Sunaway and Old Salt.
