Jake Ohlbaum Biography
Jake Ohlbaum is a singer-songwriter, instrumentalist, and producer based in Nashville, Tennessee. Since 2016, he's been the guitarist for the Indie-Pop band The Foxies. Coming off of performances at SXSW, and multiple sold-out shows in Nashville, the band is poised to be featured on Now That's What I Call Music 63's "What's Next" playlist in 2017. Additionally, Ohlbaum writes and produces for other artists of a wide range of genres, and writes solo material as well. With a background in pop/rock, jazz, R&B/soul, and musical theater, Ohlbaum actively works as a musician both in the studio and on the road with credits for Jordy Shulman, Steffi Jeraldo, Cierra Louise, Katie Burke, Southern Call, Emily Desmond, Eva Cassel, and many others. Studying at Berklee College of Music, Ohlbaum studied with faculty such as Bonnie Hayes, Paula Cole, Livingston Taylor, and Pat Pattison before moving to Nashville. He formed The Black Moons in 2014, and joined The Foxies in 2016, both actively making music down in Nashville, where he works as a writer, producer, performer, and teacher. Musician in Nashville.
