Underground musicians, Sarah Marie Dillard, Brandon Mooberry, and Nick Fairley, combine their talents to bring independent music a brand new sound. Sarah & The Underground are a SoulFolk trio that call beautiful Peoria, IL their headquarters. You can catch them in the back of a dive bar, to a 2,000 seat theater.
The sound that’s attracted thousands of listeners all over the Midwest is best described as a big sip of warm, dark whiskey for the ears. Through Sarah’s music, you’re invited into her life. Her creative lyrics and sweet vocals are masterfully set against the melodic lines that resonate from the rich tone of the upright bass, both complimented by colorful and tasteful drums and percussion.
