Clara Lofaro Biography
With six Toronto Music awards and hundreds of song placements in tv/film under her belt, Clara Lofaro is redefining what it means to be a pop singer and in-demand songwriter. She has performed alongside Stevie Nicks, Edwin McCain, Kimberly Locke, Jeffrey Gaines, and was the vocalist in the Disney Super Bowl commercial singing "When You Wish Upon a Star" featuring MVP players of the NFL team.
Clara’s ability to write hits, both for herself and others, has proven successful again and again. American Idol finalist Erika Van Pelt released four of her songs, Maddy Ziegler won Dance Moms to Clara’s performance of “Send Me A Lifeline”, and shows such as The Voice, The Tonight Show, Young & the Restless, American Idol and many more have used CL tunes as their backdrop. Lofaro's single “Just Smile” was the theme song for Vanity Fair’s four year running “Wipe On A Smile” national commercial campaign, and her follow up single “Born to Love You” hit #21 on Billboard’s Club Play chart.
Her latest releases “Safe” and “More Than I Am” EP, released via indie label AntiFragile Music, have garnered her over 180,000 streams on Spotify and a spot in the first round ballot for 3 awards in the 2020 GRAMMYs. Lofaro is set to release more music in 2022.
