SVETLANAS Biography

Commonly known as "The Most Dangerous Band in the World," SVETLANAS have solidified their robust reputation within the music community, thanks to their intense performances and theatrical flair showcased at prestigious international festivals such as Rebellion Festival (UK), Extreme Fest (FR), and Dead of Winter (AU), among others. They have garnered unwavering respect from iconic acts like The Adolescents, D.O.A., The Dwarves, M.D.C, Bad Religion, Suicidal Tendencies, Sick of It All, Phil Anselmo, Eyehategod, Jello Biafra, and numerous others, propelling them into international tours and successful record productions.

Notably, SVETLANAS received an unexpected and substantial endorsement from Gene Simmons of the legendary rock band KISS, who enthusiastically declared, "Their music will be heard by 40 million people!"

In 2016, a significant addition was made to the lineup as Nick Oliveri (formerly of Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age, Mondo Generator, and The Dwarves) joined forces. Oliveri contributed to the band's "This is Moscow Not LA" LP, which was recorded at the esteemed QOTSA's headquarters, Josh Homme's Pink Duck Studios. He also participated in a notable month-long residency at the iconic Whisky a Go Go as an integral member of SVETLANAS. Subsequently, Nick Oliveri has been an integral part of every subsequent record release by the band, including "Disco Sucks" (2020) and "The Alien's Blues" (2023).
