The Irradiates

Depuis 2007 les quatre musiciens-chercheurs de The IRRADIATES, composé d’anciens Hawaii Samuraï, Stef & Arno, Antenna Tres et Lost Boys, développent leurs recherches au sein du Scientific Surf Rock Research Department sous l’égide de l’éminent Pr. Freder. Le fruit de leurs travaux consacrés à l’impact du son sur le cerveau humain les conduit en 2010 à enregistrer leur deuxième album Audio Mental Manipulation Device, avec Steve Albini à Electrical Audio. Après avoir publié plus de 200 comptes-rendus dans une vingtaine de pays lors de conférences scéniques, ils reviennent en 2014 avec un nouvel album intitulé Revenge Of The Plants, produit par Jim Monroe (Adolescents, Bomboras, Ghastly Ones, C.J. Ramone…) Parés à effectuer de nouvelles missions, ils continuent d’explorer l’inconnu afin de soutenir ce nouveau projet botanique et sonore. ------------------------------------------------------------- Since 2007, the four scientist musicians (former HAWAII SAMURAÏ, STEF & ARNO, ANTENNA TRES and LOST BOYS members) work in research and development at the Scientific Surf Rock Research Department under the aegis of the distinguished Pr. Freder. The fruits of their labour about the impact of sound on human brain led them to record their second album «Audio Mental Manipulation Device» (2010) with Steve Albini at Electrical Audio. After publishing more than 200 reports in about 20 countries during their stage conferences, they are now coming back in 2014 with a brand new album untitled «Revenge Of The Plants», produced by Jim Monroe (Adolescents, Bomboras, C.J. Ramone, Ghastly Ones...) Ready for new missions, The IRRADIATES keep on exploring the unknown in order to promote this new sonic botanical project.
