Transit Method Biography
Transit Method is a four-piece rock band from Austin, TX that blends dizzying prog-rock instrumentals with the raw intensity of grunge and heavy metal, garnering comparisons to Soundgarden, Rush, the Mars Volta and Motörhead. The Austin Chronicle praised the band’s debut full-length, 2017’s We Won’t Get Out of Here Alive, for “[fusing] remarkable instrumental facility with alt-rock loud/soft dynamics, like a grunge band that got its colors mixed up.” Transit Method released their sophomore LP, The Madness, on Brutal Panda Records in July 2020. They have toured the United States several times, played major events such as Austin’s Formula 1, and shared the stage with the likes of the Sword and Consider the Source.
