The great Yan Pascal Tortelier conducts the San Francisco Symphony in a show-stopping performance comprised of French interpretations of classic texts at Davies Symphony Hall. In this concert, you'll be treated to works by two of France's greatest composers, Debussy and Ravel. Grammy-winning mezzo-soprano Susan Graham, dubbed "America's favorite mezzo" by "Gramophone" magazine, will perform Ravel's mesmerizing "Shéhérazade". Graham captivates audiences with her expressive voice, unusually tall and graceful stature and engaging acting ability. You'll also hear stirring renditions of Debussy's "Sarabande" from "Pour le Piano", Debussy's "Danse" and Ravel's "Daphnis et Chloé".
