Growing up in a melodious household of nine siblings, the essence of gospel hymns and spontaneous harmonies became the soundtrack to Gareth's childhood. Although not musically trained, his mother ensured a home filled with instruments and music books. Gareth taught himself the guitar from one of these books, laying the foundation for his musical journey.

While his roots trace back to church and gospel, Gareth's early influences also encompass the power ballads of the '90s, from artists like Bon Jovi and Whitney Houston. However, a transformative moment in his artistic growth came with Amy Winehouse’s "Frank". Her raw, autobiographical style inspired Gareth to embrace authenticity in songwriting, shaping his unique lyrical identity.

In 2015, he introduced "Almost Something," a crowd-funded album, followed by "Almost Something EP" in 2016. Gareth is now gearing up for the release of his latest single, "Warning Signs," signalling the dawn of several more releases in the forthcoming year.
