Helpless

Helpless are a band from the South West, UK that play a blend of dissonant grindcore and metallic hardcore.

Their debut album, ‘Debt’, released in 2017, led them to touring and standalone show support slots alongside acts such as Full of Hell, Nails, Dragged Into Sunlight, Employed to Serve, Ithaca; as well as festival appearances at Download and Dreadfest.

After a lineup change in 2019, Helpless focused on writing and sought to outdo their previous effort with ‘Caged In Gold’, which was released via Church Road Records in March 2022, a year that would see the band play 2000 Trees Festival and tour the album across the UK with support from Razoreater.

2023 continued the momentum with select headline shows, tour support for Conjurer and a string of festival appearances at the iconic Arctangent Festival, as well as Entombed Festival, Abysmal and Crowded Festival.

Helpless have begun writing for their next album and look to 2024 to road test the new material, alongside springtime UK tourmates Throes (USA).
