The Nicotines

The Nicotines are a hard-rock act from Montreal, QC Canada that excel in energetic, heavy rhythms coupled with pop-sensible melodies. Inspired by rock acts since the 60s, The Nicotines deliver a powerful style of rock and roll never heard before. The Nicotines started as a connection in 2015 between drummer Lucas Villeneuve and singer/guitarist Davide Spinato. The pair shared similar tastes for hard rock music with catchy hooks and impressive instrumentals. Kyuss, Led Zeppelin, Black Flag, Scream, Foo Fighters were amongst their favorite bands. Finally, Costin, a long time friend of Davide, was asked to join on bass to complete the line up. Costin brought a pop sensibility with energetic rhythms inspired by old-school punk rock bands such as the Sex Pistols and the Dead Kennedies; as well as modern acts like Blink-182 and The Offspring. In January 2017, the group were officially The Nicotines and immediately began writing and recording their debut EP. Recording was completed by the end of February, and they began their live debut March 4th. After a 2 month hiatus, they came back in May with the release of their debut EP ''Spaced Out'" as well as tour dates for summer 2017 in their hometown of Montreal and along the East coast of the USA. The Nicotines are an independent Rock band from Montreal, Quebec.
