Smash the Stigma Canada is proud to present the next music-filled fundraiser in support of the CMHA- Simcoe County's youth centre! This time we are bringing you EIGHT bands split into TWO shows in ONE day for ONE great cause! We have already raised over $2,250 in just two shows, so let's keep this up! At 5:00pm we kick off the night with an ALL AGES show for only $2 at the door, featuring: Jupiter Hollow - An ambient progressive rock/metal duo from Barrie, Ontario Heavy Hands -Back by popular demand after showing how heavy their hands truly were at Mosh for Mental Health! in November. "The Steve" - Notorious guitar-shredding rock star of NothingBox goes acoustic, sharing his struggles with mental illness in emotional and relatable songs. Crast - As shrouded in mystery as the origin of their name, this newly formed group will kick off the show with some alternative-rock music. --------------------------------------------------------------- Then at 9:00pm the second show starts! $5 at the door, featuring: Rosewood Annie - Straight out of Halifax, NS, Rosewood Annie has taken the Barrie music scene by storm and are not slowing down! A Particle Apart - Progressive metal from Barrie, ON bringing you melodic but mosh-worthy tunes! Grey Eyes - Inspired by the works of Thrice, David Bowie, Manchester Orchestra, O’Brother, and Noah Gunderson. With a strong poetic influence in the lyrics, an alternative music style and a heavy backbone, Beaver Slap - Rising from broken trees and gushing rivers, the Beavers are back with new tunes & attitudes, ready to melt your faces (again) with hardcore riffs & words. As always, we will have tons of prizes to be won at our prize draw (each $5 donation = two free prize tickets) from local bands, businesses, restaurants, and more!
