When you’ve seen Jay Seeney and his band perform, you know it; vibrant, tasteful, bursting with energy & one of a kind. The band has exploded onto the scene in the past few years with debut EP ‘The New Black’ which had strong chart success. On top of this, many festival appearances and shows in Australia and worldwide have contributed to the growth of The Jay Seeney Band’s fan base. At the age of 25, Jay has performed alongside the best of the best all over Australia including: CMC Rocks, Gympie Music Muster & the Tamworth Country Music Festival whilst mixing with some of the biggest rock and country music stars of the planet including: Eric Church, Jimmy Barnes, Lee Kernaghan, Big & Rich, Lee Brice, Suzi Quatro, Chip Esten, Tommy Emmanuel, Troy Cassar-Daley, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, The Living End…The list goes on.

This time around, The Jay Seeney Band is back with a brand new EP titled ‘Light Me Up’. This EP was recorded with the best of the best in Nashville including Grammy Award Winning Producer & Number One hit maker, Jamie Tate. This release signals the maturation of the band, the goal was to write songs that speak to the people. Real life stories and experiences for real life people, coupled with the explosive country rock sound of The Jay Seeney Band.

Jay Seeney has been booked solidly around the country and has endorsements with Schecter Guitars, Rotosound Strings & Eagle Eyes Sunglasses. Jay has performed alongside the cream of the crop in the Australian Country Music Industry as well as performing on bills including American Superstars such as: Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Big & Rich, Rascal Flatts, Chris Young, The Band Perry, Dierks Bentley and many more.


In 2014, Jay headed to Nashville to record his Debut EP ‘The New Black’ with an all star A-List Nashville Band comprised of members who play with Tim McGraw, Alabama, Kid Rock & Taylor Swift. The recording was completed under the watchful eye of Dark Horse Recording who is responsible for the production of Taylor Swift’s Platinum 5x self titled release and Big & Rich’s Triple Platinum album, ‘Horse Of A Different Color’ as well as the Rukkus Room, also responsible for a string of Number 1 hits. The EP features co-writes with highly respected member of the music industry & multi Golden Guitar winner: Drew McAlister. Stemming from this collaboration, Jay now performs as Drew McAlister’s full time guitarist.

The first single: ‘Indescribable’ was released on the 6th of February and reached the Top 20 of the iTunes Country Singles Chart in Australia. It charted higher than any other Australian artist and was also the highest independent release worldwide at that time on the chart.
The 2nd single, ‘Any Love Before’ reached #4 on the Hot Country Radio Network Charts and latest single: Every Time It Rains currently sits at #32 on the New Music Weekly American Country Charts.
The Jay Seeney Band is set to blast a new brand of modern country rock all over the planet.
