Independent Venue Week, now in its fifth year, is a nationwide celebration of the spirit of independence & culture of live music and venues.

We're super pleased to be a part of it and have put together a week long programme of bands the venue holds dear.

"Songs that will make you dance and sing along while you feel the seedy, swirling force" ★★★★☆ Mojo

"It's rough magic, but it works like a charm" ★★★☆ Q Magazine

"They are funny and deadly serious, chaotic and fully focused, and making ace records" 'The Lead Review', The Quietus

MADONNATRON, by their own admission, started out with pretty low expectations (given that none of them could actually play their instruments). But, like label-mates Fat White Family & Meatraffle, it hasn't stopped them rapidly becoming one of the standout bands of this so-called South London scene that some people are talking about.

They performed a live session on Marc Riley's 6 Music show, toured with The Moonlandingz & played at many festivals.

Madonnatron's self-titled debut album was released in July 2017 on Trashmouth records.

**Very Special Guest:

The alter ego of Country Teasers' Ben Wallers, The Rebel dates back to the tail-end of the 80shaving existed side-by-side throughout Country Teasers' prolific careeroften releasing records at a steadier clip than Waller's main project with songs too madcap to fit into even their William-Burroughs-by-way-of-The-Residents take on country music.

Sloppy beats and sleazy melodies from South London scum.

They released two hot singles - 'Kiss Me In My Greasy Bed' and 'The Goof' last year which helped make them one of the brightest prospects for 2018.
