Tuesday, January 30th, 2018
6:30 PM
The Islington
1 Tolpuddle Street, London, United Kingdom
In depth 90 plus minutes of pure unadulterated Ian! Ian will be talking about all aspects of his life, his music and the current system. Expect a night of decadent Rock and Roll tales, hilarity, secrets revealed and super surprises as well as a Q/A session with the audience. The debut of a new series of live conversations with some of the most talented performers of the day. Our opening night features the mega-talented singer-songwriter Ian Prowse of Pele and Amsterdam (“Best New Band”- NME). Ian’s songs and stories are familiar around the globe and have been covered and played by such brilliant artists as Christy Moore, Miles Hunt and, of course let's not forget his bezzie Elvis Costello. The series is hosted by Lach, the founder of the Antifolk movement and star of BBC Radio 4’s hit comedy series ‘The Lach Chronicles’. "A face-ache funny, beat-punk-unplugged joy!"-The Guardian “He’s great!” - Bob Dylan “He’s fucking funny!” - Nikki Sixx (Mötley Crüe)

Lach was brilliant. A songwriter of real breadth & depth - and a really witty performer too!
