One Night Lamp Biography

Dating back to 2014, Founding Member Eric Salazar enjoyed writing music for fun and expression. Drawing tons of inspiration from artists such as Depeche Mode, The Cure, Prince, Deftones and Omar Rodriguez Lopez to name a few. Since 2014 Eric has been working on his craft to develop a unique and new sonic-sound experience. His primary instrument and writing tool is guitar but is also inclined in playing drums, bass guitar and piano/ synths. He writes, records, produces, and arrange all music to date. Now interested in taking things further; Eric wanted to take the music out of the room and create a thrilling live band. The band being One Night Lamp. The band introduces my best friends Roman Martinez and Mario Gonzalez to bring the sound he had created to life. Since December 2017 the Trio has been active practicing and innovating the music while booking shows in the Houston area, allowing to create a captivating experience for the audience and having explosive shows.
