The Anima Effect Biography
Originally formed in 2011 by Trevor Roberts and Trevor Gill as Death of A Martyr, The band went through many changes in name, lineup, and producers in developing the album and project over the course of the past 6 years. The project that would become The Anima Effect started in 2016.
Beginning in late September 2016, Trevor Roberts and Ryan Martinez began production of the beginning of what will be band's first first full album Upheaval. In March of 2017 members Brandan Hinkle, and Chandler Tinder joined the band adding Vocals and rhythm guitar to the line up. The band went through a slew of bassists between April and September until the band ultimately brought John Burns back from the original Death of A Martyr line up. Moving forward with three out of the five original members The Anima Effect finally added Brandon Hadix to the band to add synth and backing vocals to the group thus completing the now 6 piece line up.
The Anima Effect is the embodiment of the current generation's dissatisfaction and resentment of the status quo, and they have every intention of using their influence to provoke and inspire.
