A Ukraine native, SR SERGE has called New York his home for most of his life. It was in the city where he first became captivated by the music of Depeche Mode, New Order and Duran Duran, a fascination that led him to discover the thriving New York club scene. First as an avid clubber, then an event promoter, SR SERGE was inspired by the late-night sets of New York legends like Danny Tenaglia and Junior Vazquez, and soon he had his first set of turntables. While his sound has evolved over the years, at the core of his sets is a dark energy that evokes the legacy of the New York underground. Incorporating everything from tribal to progressive and tech-house, he seamlessly navigates across diverse genres. His sound has penetrated numerous venues and festivals around the world, dropping sets in clubbing destinations like Mexico, Canada, Brazil, France, Russia, Spain and Ukraine, sharing the booth with legends; Crystal Method, Darren Emerson, Satoshi Tomiie, Hector Romero, Shlomi Aber, Christian Smith, Carlo Lio, Lele Sacchi, Jody Wisternoff, Lexicon Avenue, Peace Division,Behrouz, John Creamer & Stephane K, and many other talented artists… For nearly a decade, the Sullivan Room has been one of New York’s premiere destinations for electronic music.
