WESLEE is a haven for the art of innovative producer Josh Grant, and expressive singer-songwriter Emma DD. Introduced at a NYC session, their creative desires aligned instantly. Bonded through a love for music, and a disillusionment with the plastic parameters that constrict modern artists, WESLEE began. Releasing music with no intentions and no pressure, the Alt-R&B duo built an organic cult following with the release of their debut single, ‘Gassed’.

A brief hiatus saw Josh and Emma grow as creatives and individuals; receiving respective Grammy nominations, WESLEE remained an outlet to hone their craft intimately as friends. Refocusing the project with music at the core, 2023 sees the arrival of their innovative ‘Worlds’ project. Sonic representations of the clusters of emotions that inspire their music. Drawing influence from analogue sounds and “noodling around” in the pursuit of timeless sonics; the music draws from R&B, Indie, Soul, Pop but remains fluid across the genre spectrum. The ‘World’s’ continue their trademark luscious production, emotive lyrics, and honey vocals, bringing a new high to their artistry.
