Sweetbay Biography
About 30 minutes south of Atlanta, Georgia comes a group of young musicians by the name of SWEETBAY. From humble beginnings cutting their teeth as a trio in the local scene, to developing their own unique wall of sound, SWEETBAY has developed into something worth watching out for.
In the early months of 2015, SWEETBAY was founded by Lance Mapp, Zach Deloach, and James Tiernan. Their dynamic sound and performances have begun to make waves in the music scene. SWEETBAY's music is often described as soulful, guitar driven indie rock with a colorful, electronic twist. Taking inspiration from acts such as Colony House, M83, and Coldplay, SWEETBAY likes to take raw, emotional rock and build a wall of synths and ambient pads around it. A combination of Lance Mapp's ever so slightly bluesy vocals and roaring guitar, James Tiernan's thunderous bass lines, and Zach Deloach's creatively off the wall drumming, along with the lush sounds that surround them will leave you wanting more after every performance.
