Inspired, he released his first produced record on Atlantic Records at just 17 years old. At age 22, JJ became an integral part of the production team “20 Fingers” – a team responsible for many hit records reaching both gold and platinum sales worldwide. JJ has done remixes for pop music powerhouses including NSync, Britney Spears, and Christina Milian as well as producing with Bad Boy Bill and eventually teaming up with Steve Smooth to establish himself as House Music DJ and artist.Under the artist name “JJ Flores & Steve Smooth,” they released two albums: “The Collection” under Ménage Music and “AMP’d” under Ultra Records. JJ soon became a household name in House Music, touring across the nation solo as well as with Steve Smooth and produducing many top-charting releases, including a number one record on Beatport. JJ has held residencies at some of the hottest spots across the US including Crobar (Chicago), Spybar (Chicago), Dream (Miami Beach), Infusion Lounge (San Francisco), Groove Cruise, and Candy Cruise. He is currently signed to Ultra Records and recently moved to Los Angeles to continue working on new music.
