REBEKA BROWN

With her naturallly rooted Spanish temperament, and her undeniable musical talent, Rebeka Brown is recognized as one of the most well known vocal figures of the International Electronic Music scene. Through her live performances,she has been able to bring us to her inner universe, always full of energy, while being as glamorous as ever. Rebeka has the rare ability to make her audience feel an equal part of the performance. The crowd and performers are one in the same. Her hits have taken her touring all over the globe, leaving an indelible mark on her faithful audiences, hungry for more. Sun Rising Up became the summer anthem of Ibiza in 2005 ,featuring Spanish house producer, David Penn (Urbana, Azuli). As a result, she won her first award for best track of the year. She lit up every stage like the terrace of Space and Amnesia in Ibiza and all other international venues where she always performed it live. Her successful collaboration with the Matinee group placed her right in the heart of the global dance scene and left her in high demand for many important new key players in the market. She received her next award for best track in 2006, Maniac, featuring producer Juanjo Martin of Rainlove. Later, in 2008, she received best song of the year for Real Things by DeeJay Mags (Houseworks, Matinee recording). Also,in 2008, she won the lifetime award for best pioneering live artist. She then continued in the summer of 2008 with weekly performances for sold out audiences at Privilege, Ibiza. Privilege is the largest club in the world, One of her performances has held a Guinness world record for largest club audience of 12,000 people on the night of SuperMartxe featuring Rebeka Brown live. Her next track, ¨Don’t Let This Moment End featuring Dj and producer, Carlos Gallardo, was released January 2009 and was an instant hit. Next in 2009, she released Keep On with Blanco y Negro. It featured top producer, Tuccillo, and received international acclaim. Rebeka had a milestone live performance at the most popular dance competition show FAMA on Spanish television Cuatro. This unique show attracted 2,5 million viewers. She also went on to perform two more shows for FAMA . The next major release was Millennium in June 2009. It featured producer, Juanjo Martin, and won dj best track and best performance for the 2009 Deejay Mag Awards. Millennium was featured on numerous compilations and was a massive radio success in the summer of 2009. Rebeka then decided to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her career by creating her multimedia show, Discodramah. The performances Rebeka has developed for Discodramah feature live dancers, live musicians, dj's and state of the art video productions. Some of the highlights of these performances have featured the likes of renowned choreographer, Rafa Mendez and the dancers from the popular spanish television show, FAMA. Rebeka created Discodramah for different venues and festivals featuring a variety of combinations of performers of all walks of life. One show will feature her acapella accompanied by a dj. Yet another performance will be a full band of musicians and dancers. In the spring of 2010, Rebeka began collaborating yet again with the matinee group, featuring performances with Rebeka and Discodramah at multiple venues such as Amnesia, Ibiza and the festival, La Leche at the world renowned venue, Palau San Jordi, in Barcelona. She is now getting ready to launch Discodramah for the summer of 2010. Rebeka will be taking her performance on a world tour featuring live performers, dj's, and dancers. She will also be performing seven shows in the summer of 2010 for Matinee at Amnesia,Ibiza. A highlight of the spring of 2010, has been her recent performance at the Cannes Film Festival for Fashion TV. Rebeka is excited to be announcing the release of her new 2 cd compilation due out in June. It will contain previous released songs and new remixes. As well, it will feature new songs and mixes with Rebeka teaming up with her new collaborators, the phenomenal producers known as Pushtronic. The next big step in Rebeka's career is one of connecting to a larger audience and expanding her musical style. She has teamed up with L. Henry Sarmiento II with the intention to create and expand this magic and profound artistry and do it together with her musical genius and his effortless leadership.
