Georgia Rose

Georgia Rose is a young balladeer, storyteller and soulstress, gracefully capturing audiences with her unique lyricism and soaring vocal dynamics. Georgia translates emotional stories into music with a delicate fusion of soul, folk, blues and jazz - taking influence from the likes of Jeff Buckley, Leanne La Havas, Bon Iver, Hozier and Leonard Cohen. Whilst delivering a powerful solo performance, she is often accompanied by electric guitarist Luke Woollett, who compliments Georgia’s style with minimal, atmospheric undertones. Their sound is then brought to life with fellow bandmates Monique Clare, offering earthy cello and Caleb Colledge on percussion. Birthed in the hometown of The Beatles and named after Ray Charles ‘Georgia On My Mind’, the natural born songstress has grown up with musical influence from her family and has an inherent flare for the creative arts and songwriting, displaying a sensitive maturity beyond her years. Residing in Brisbane Australia, Georgia released her debut single as a solo artist, ‘This Dance’ in March 2017 with an acclaimed East-Coast tour followed by the release of her second single 'Lightning Strike' in August. The troubadour plans to write and record her debut EP throughout 2018, stepping into 2019 with tenacity and momentum.
