Now in its 6th year the festival will feature some of Australia’s best loved musicians and bands, with the legendary John Farnham making his very first trip to Birdsville to headline the stellar line up of talent. Tickets go on sale on October 25th. The journey is all part of the adventure when getting to the Bash, with some travellers dedicating weeks on the road soaking up Australia’s quintessential outback locations and camping under vast starry night skies. Getting to Birdsville and setting up camp in the Simpson Desert for the three day feast of music and family friendly entertainment, including desert drag races and indigenous craft workshops, has become a top Australian bucket-list event. The Big Red Bash was voted Australia’s Favourite Event at the 2016 Australian Event Awards. Kids 11 and under are welcome for free.
