The Ault Sisters Biography
The Ault Sisters are an up and coming jazz vocal trio from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. The sisters have performed at many prestigious venues around Ontario including Mississauga’s Living Arts Centre, Brampton’s Rose Theatre, and top Toronto live music club Hugh’s Room, Jazz Bistro and Lula Lounge. Recent and Upcoming Concerts: Jazz On The Mountain At Blue, Beaches International Jazz Festival, and T&T Waterfront Night Market. They recently released a jazz album with veteran Toronto producer Greg Kavanagh, titled "Timeless". Kavanagh’s intimate, state of the art studio, Kavasound, captures perfectly the girls’ subtle vocal interaction and interweaving harmonies in a fresh and spontaneous fashion. They are accompanied on the album by renowned Toronto jazz artists such as Robi Botos, George Koller, Ben Riley, John Johnson, Ted Quinlan, and William Sperandei. It also features arrangements by Debbie Fleming and Dylan Bell. Amanda recently graduated from York University’s Bachelor of Fine Arts program, studying voice with Norma Burrows. Alicia is in her senior year at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York, studying voice with Rita Shane. Alanna is entering her first year at Humber College for Vocal Jazz. The girls also study with coaches Lorraine Lawson, Micah Barnes, Debbie Flemming, Tom Oliver, Linda Fletcher and Jennifer Tung. Up and coming Toronto based jazz vocal trio, The Ault Sisters!
