"Devon-born, Brighton-based Breathe Panel are the latest signings to to the seaside city's Fat Cat label, and emerge with their roaring first-single-proper, 'On My Way'.

Having shared stages with the likes of The Big Moon and fellow Brightoners Beachtape already this year, 'On My Way' firmly places the quartet in the group of Brighton bands to watch.

The track is lo-fi and cagey, but with more than a few hints of becoming anthemic. Real Estate and Deerhunter are named as some of the band's key influences, and are worn on their sleeve here.

The single comes out on 19th August on a 7 via Fat Cat, stream it below. The band are also set to support Honeyblood on select dates of their DIY Presents UK tour later this year."

Chopped up beats, scuzzed up riffs and torn up vocals Clash Magazine

These guys have it all. Their live show is a beautiful thing to behold with monstrously loud blues guitar, hip-hop break beats and searing vocal hooks, and they've managed to convey that very same feeling in their latest single, Faultlines. Reminiscent of 'Raw Power'-era Stooges and two-piece Leeds legends Wet Nuns, Dirty White Fever are a rock n' roll phenomenon in its truest form. - Louder than War

Dirty White Fever, Brighton based two piece Dominic Knight and Leon Holder, fuse garage and blues with their mutual love of old school hip hop, break beats and DFA 1979. A project that has been on the back burner for a number of years, whilst Dominic toured with 80s Matchbox B-Line Disaster and shortly after, Bad For Lazarus and Leon engineered for various venues and bands such as Cave Painting and You Love Her Coz She's Dead, the time has come for DWF to unleash their rock n' roll fury on the world.

After the success of their previous singles, Dirty White Fever have now announced their debut album, '...on the shores of San Salvador', released by Roadkill Records on July 21st. A collection of their work to date, the 11 track epic takes you on a journey of blisteringly heavy guitars and the bands signature break-beats.

The LP includes the ominous slice of broken sludge 'Faultlines' and pounding dance anthem '7.83hz' as well as their brand new single 'Shallow Borders'.

With an impressive back catalogue of gig mates including God Damn, The Garden, Entrance Band and DOPE BODY, big future release plans and a fierce drive rivalled by none, Dirty White Fever are the real deal, and they're poised, set to make 2017 theirs.

Jack and Lily from Penelope Isles solo projects together.

'Before exhibiting her dream-inducing temperament and naturally curious wonder in songwriting with Penelope Isles, Lily Wolter indulged in her creative penchants with a versatile and solitary outlet that tinkled with warmth and idiosyncrasy. Kookie Lou originally acted as a chapter-turning bridge between her time within Your Gold Teeth, a group that crafted melodious soundscapes on the Isle of Mann and the enveloping harmonies of Penelope Isles, a group settled within the promenade lights of Brighton city yet couldn't more away from it in sense of scope. Now revealing the projects return with a new EP in 'Salt', Wolter brings the ever progressive nature of her songwriting foundations built from her different projects, channeling them into a comfortably sincere place of striking occurrence.'

"damp lo-fi sad songs with occasional saxophone"

'Porridge Radio has been crafting emotional psychedelic lo-fi vomit music for a few years... Hypnotic and raw, there is an element of honesty and pathos present in her music that serves a foolproof antidote to the real world. She sings she shouts, she breaks the internal microphone on her laptop. What more could you want? A demented homage to Neil Young? A beautiful song about periods? You got it.' - Memorials of Distinction

Tilt are Totally Incapable of Lots of Things. They did not take their name from that Scott Walker record. They aren't a three piece featuring bass, drums, and guitar/keys. They don't write weird melancholic songs with a strong electronica influence. In fact they don't even really know how to play their instruments

Formed in 2013, Merlin Tonto (Owen Thomas (electronics), Miles Boyd (bass) and Steffan Eliades (drums) combine a patient, ever building, subliminal connection in the rhythm section with Owen's virtuoso manipulation of electronics and visual interpretations of the band's otherwordly sounds. Recalling at various times Factory Floor, ESG and Leftfield. It's all done in their idiosyncratic way, the music is never in a hurry to get anywhere, their restraint meaning the joy is as much in the journey as the destination.

Their second EP - Baotou, released on Brighton's Love Thy Neighbour label, continues this journey with the acid sounds of 'Forest Primeval' to the ambient washes of the stunning 'Shimmering Mist'.

PERCH (Perch)

Having been informed of the prospect of not flying their kites for a day, the detuned indie/art rock quartet have agreed to play a set of songs from previous and forthcoming LP's

GARDEN CENTRE (Garden Centre)

Garden Centre is a band formed out of necessity. The specific function of the band was to tell the story of a group of people who found themselves drawn to an abandoned plant nursery in southern England. The band hoped that their messages were transmitted efficiently, broadcast via audio in the form of their début album 'Garden Centre'.

With their task well and truly complete, the members of Garden Centre have become distracted. Some members still obsess over semi-rural boredom and exploration. Others have the audacity to write love songs. The most cretinous members opt to write about energy drinks exclusively. Their distracted and unfocused efforts come to the fore in their new album 'Monster energy'. "

The National Intelligence Agency are select group of semi-autonomous secret agents historically funded through mysterious, complicated and impossible to shut down public funding channels.

Formed in the 1950s to investigate unknown threats to national security, the National Intelligence Agency have since been involved in cases involving the occult, esoteric and bizarre goings on this world and in galaxies and parallel universes far, far away.

In the modern spirit of opening up a little three agents have recently been tasked with raising the profile of the agency in a bid to educate the public in such matters; and where possible to win hearts and minds.

Some of their more notable cases will be retold in intriguing detail, all will be delivered on a sound-bed of garage surf rock - simply a necessary vehicle.

The National Intelligence Agency will be appearing for the first time in public on 31st January 2018 at the New Cross Inn, London and for the second time on 3rd February at the Green Door Store in London.
